A security and permissions overhaul
Stronger, more consistent access rules across projects, comments, guests, and website previews.
The problem
Access rules had grown across the app over time, and some areas checked permissions in different ways.
What’s better now
We reworked permissions so every part of Lucidly follows the same rules. Highlights:
- Workspace admins can manage the workspace’s projects
- Removing a guest revokes their access right away, while keeping their comments
- Password-protected site logins are more secure
- Website previews and guest sessions are better protected
